Chargé d'affaires a.i / Ambassador of Myanmar to Vietnam H.E. U Wai Linn attended the reception to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Viet Nam’s accession to ASEAN and the 58th anniversary of the founding of ASEAN, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam at Melia Hanoi Hotel on 28 July 2025.
The reception was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, H.E. Mr. Bui Thanh Son along with the ASEAN Ambassadors, Head of Missions, diplomats, representatives of International Organizations in Vietnam, and senior Vietnamese officials. At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs recalled Viet Nam’s active contributions towards ASEAN and reaffirmed its commitment to the shared future of the group. It was followed by the congratulatory speech of the Ambassador of Malaysia to Vietnam.
