2026 ASEAN Panorama Exhibition Successfully Concludes, Introducing ASEAN Products and Business Opportunities to the Korean Market

(1-10-2026, Seoul)

The closing ceremony of the 2026 ASEAN Panorama exhibition, which was successfully held for five months from 7 May to 30 September 2026, was held in the afternoon of 30 September at the Seoul ASEAN Hall, Korea Press Center, Seoul, Republic of Korea. The ceremony was attended by diplomats from ASEAN Member States, the Economic Counsellor of the Embassy of Myanmar in Seoul, and officials from the Trade and Investment Unit (TIU) of the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC).

The 2026 ASEAN Panorama was organized by the ASEAN-Korea Centre as an expanded format of the annual ASEAN Trade Fair, which has been held since 2014. The exhibition adopted a monthly rotational format, featuring ASEAN Member States in turn and providing an opportunity to introduce the businesses, products and cultures of all 11 ASEAN Member States to consumers and business communities in the Republic of Korea.

According to the announcements by the AKC (TIU), a total of 94 companies from 11 ASEAN Member States participated in the exhibition, showcasing 503 products across various sectors, including food and beverages, apparel and fashion accessories, books, creative industries, and halal lifestyle products. Approximately 5,000 visitors attended the exhibition, while around 300 B2B discussions were conducted between ASEAN companies and buyers and distributors in the Republic of Korea. In addition, through Korea Market Entry Support Programs, Business Seminars and 1:1 Buyer Consultations, the exhibition provided support to ASEAN MSMEs in entering the Korean market and expanding their business networks.

Myanmar also participated in the exhibition in August 2026, jointly presenting a Myanmar exhibition booth with Thailand. The booth showcased food products, traditional handicrafts, textiles and other products from 10 Myanmar companies. Furthermore, 16 representatives from nine Myanmar companies participated in the Business Forum and B2B Business Matching programs held on 26 and 27 August, through which the Embassy of Myanmar in Seoul facilitated opportunities for them to establish business contacts with Korean companies and buyers.

The 2026 ASEAN Panorama exhibition provided an opportunity to introduce ASEAN products, cultures and business opportunities to the Korean market, while also creating opportunities to strengthen connections and cooperation between ASEAN MSMEs and buyers, distributors and business communities in the Republic of Korea.
