The Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the United States, together with ASEAN Ambassadors, Heads of Mission, and representatives from other ASEAN Embassies, attended a meeting hosted by His Excellency Mr. Koy Kuong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United States, with His Excellency Senator Mr. Pete Ricketts, Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on East Asia, the Pacific, and International Cybersecurity Policy, in Washington, D.C. on 22 July 2026.
During the meeting, members of the ASEAN Committee in Washington (ACW) exchanged views with the Senator concerning prospective collaboration, with regard to the Subcommittee’s efforts in the fields of cybersecurity, matters pertaining to trade as well as the priority areas of the ASEAN region.
