Travel Authorization for Rakhine State already granted to the staff of UNDP and UNHCR to conduct assessment survey for the operationalization of the MoU

In order to operationalize the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Myanmar Government, UNDP and UNHCR on 6 June 2018, assessment survey will be conducted in 5 Village Tracts (12 Villages) in Buthidaung Township and 8 Village Tracts (11 Villages) in Maungdaw Township in Rakhine State. The First Phase of the assessment will be conducted in 13 Village Tracts (23 Villages).

The Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population has informed the UNDP and UNHCR on 7 August 2018, that the travel authorization has been approved for the staff responsible for field assessments. This information has been transmitted to the relevant departments to make necessary arrangements for the field assessments.

ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရ၊ ကုလသမဂ္ဂဖွံ့ဖြိုးမှုအစီအစဉ် (UNDP) နှင့် ကုလသမဂ္ဂ ဒုက္ခသည်များဆိုင်ရာ မဟာမင်းကြီးရုံး (UNHCR) တို့အကြား ၆-၆-၂၀၁၈ ရက်က လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးခဲ့သည့် နားလည်မှုစာချွန်လွှာအား လက်တွေ့ အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ရေး ပထမအဆင့်အနေဖြင့် ရခိုင်ပြည်နယ်မြောက်ပိုင်း၊ ဘူးသီးတောင်မြို့နယ်ရှိ ကျေးရွာအုပ်စု (၅) အုပ်စု (ကျေးရွာ ၁၂ ရွာ)နှင့် မောင်တော မြို့နယ်ရှိ ကျေးရွာအုပ်စု (၈) အုပ်စု (ကျေးရွာ ၁၁ ရွာ)၊ စုစုပေါင်းကျေးရွာအုပ်စု (၁၃) အုပ်စု (ကျေးရွာ ၂၃ ရွာ) တို့၌ ကွင်းဆင်း၊ အကဲဖြတ်မှုများ စတင်ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည် ဖြစ်သည်။

ယင်းသို့ ကွင်းဆင်းအကဲဖြတ်မှုများ ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ရန်အတွက် UNDP နှင့် UNHCR တို့ဘက်မှ တာဝန်ချထားသည့် ဝန်ထမ်းများအား လိုအပ်သည့် ခရီးသွားလာခွင့်ပြုကြောင်း အလုပ်သမား၊ လူဝင်မှု ကြီးကြပ်ရေးနှင့် ပြည်သူ့အင်အား ဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ ၇-၈-၂၀၁၈ ရက်တွင် အသိပေးထားပြီး ဖြစ်သည်။ ယခုအခါ အဆိုပါ နေရာများသို့ ကွင်းဆင်း အကဲဖြတ်မှုများ ပြုလုပ်ရန်အတွက် လိုအပ်သည်များ စီစဉ် ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးရန် သက်ဆိုင်ရာဌာနများသို့လည်း အကြောင်းကြားထားပြီး ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရှိရသည်။
