U Win Zeyar Tun, Chargé d’Affaires / Minister at the Myanmar Embassy in London, attended the 2026 World Maritime Day Reception on 24 September 2026 at the UN’s International Maritime Organization (IMO), upon the invitation of H.E. Mr. Arsenio Dominguez, Secretary-General of the IMO.
At the event, the Secretary-General delivered commemorative remarks. The reception was attended by Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Heads of Mission, representatives of IMO Permanent Missions, diplomats from UN member states, and IMO officials.
“From Policy to Practice: Powering Maritime Excellence” has been set as the theme for the 2026 World Maritime Day.
