The ceremony of conferring Thiri Zeya Kyaw Medal, honorary title of Excellent Performance in International Cooperation awarded by the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Mr. Toshio Nishimura, Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Nagoya and Mr. Noriatsu Otomori, Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Kobe on 14th November 2025 (National Day), was held on 9th February 2026 at the Ayeyarwaddy Hall, Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo.
At the ceremony, H.E. U Kyaw Tun, Chargé d' Affaires/ Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Japan made congratulatory remarks and the aim of the ceremony for conferring Thiri Zeya Kyaw Medal to the recipients. Afterwards, H.E. U Kyaw Tun presented the medal awards to the two Myanmar Honorary Consuls on behalf of the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The two Myanmar Honorary Consuls also expressed their profound gratitude for being awarded the Thiri Zeya Kyaw Medal by the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
Chargé d' Affaires/ Ambassador of Myanmar to Japan and Spouse, two Myanmar Honorary Consuls and Spouses, Defense Attaché and Spouse, Myanmar Embassy staffs and invited guests were presented.
