At the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Myanmar delegation led by U Hau Khan Sum, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar attended the 23rd Edition of Doha Forum held in Doha, Qatar from 6 to 7 December 2025. The Forum was attended by global Leaders, Heads of States, Foreign Ministers, High-level officials, experts, Intellectuals and technocrats in which they discussed key sectors including peace, global security, economic development, climate change and global cooperation in different sessions.
During the Forum, the Permanent Secretary held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Aljohara Yousif Al-Obaidan, Head of Asian Affairs Department on 7 December 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further advancement of bilateral relations and cooperation in areas of common interest.
