H.E. U Aung Myo Myint, Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN, attended the 78th Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI) Task Force Meeting held on 12 March 2026 at the ASEAN Secretariat.
The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Noy Choumneanh, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Cambodia to ASEAN and Chair of the IAI Task Force for 2026 and attended by the members of IAI Task Force and respective officials from the ASEAN Secretariat.
During the Meeting, the IAI Task Force reviewed on the implementation of the IAI Work Plan IV (2021-2025) and the achievements and challenges throughout the history of IAI Work Plans I-IV towards the narrowing the development gap within the region. Moreover, the Meeting also exchanged views on the future directions for the implementation of IAI Work Plan V (2026-2030) adopted at the 47th ASEAN Summit last year.
