H.E. U Ko Ko Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, delivered an opening speech at the inauguration ceremony of Diploma in Diplomacy Course (1/2025), jointly conducted by Myanmar Diplomatic Academy and Naypyitaw State Academy, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yangon on 23 June 2025 (Monday), 10:00 a.m.
Comprised of four-month long two semesters, the Diploma in Diplomacy (DID) will cover Diplomacy, International Relations, Foreign Policies, International Organizations, International Laws, Current Issues and Trends in International Relations.
Also present at the opening ceremony were retired Deputy Ministers, retired Ambassadors, Director-General and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior diplomats, Rector of Naypyitaw State Academy, professors and lecturers from respective universities and trainees.
The 51 trainees come from various government ministries, private sector organizations, and include students interested in diplomacy and international relations.
