To support relief and recovery efforts for the people of Myanmar affected by the powerful earthquake that hit the central Myanmar on 28 March 2025, Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh, Vice Head of Hanoi Representative Office of Tuoi Tre Daily Newspaper headquartered in Ho Chi Minh city, donated, VND 845,591,922.00, a collective contribution of Tuoi Tre Newspaper and its readers, to U Soe Ko Ko, Chargé d' Affaires a.i./ Minister at the Myanmar Embassy in Hanoi on 2 May 2025. The Myanmar Chargé d'Affaires a.i. received the donation and presented a letter of appreciation to Tuoi Tre Daily Newspaper and its benevolent readers.
The donation will be transferred to the National Disaster Management Committee of Myanmar.
