Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar hosted the 326th Meeting of ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) at the Sakura Hall of the Embassy on 27 August 2025. The Meeting was chaired by H.E. U Soe Han, Myanmar Ambassador to Japan who is the current Chair of the ACT. The meeting was attended by ASEAN Ambassadors, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. and ACT officials of the ASEAN Embassies. During the meeting, ASEAN Ambassadors had a friendly and candid discussions on the Japan’s domestic development and regional development, and the upcoming activities that will be organized by the ACT. The meeting was followed by the Dinner Talk between ASEAN Ambassadors and Mr. Takashi Arikawa, Executive Director (International Affairs) of the Nippon Foundation. During the discussion, Mr. Takashi Arikawa shared the information on the projects of the Nippon Foundation operating in the ASEAN Countries, and exchanged views with the ACT members.
