The 4th Meeting of the ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision (4th HLTF-ACV) was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 19 October to 20 October 2022 in Hybrid format.
The meeting was co-chaired by Cambodia and Malaysia and also attended by Eminent Persons, High Level Representatives and Delegates from ASEAN Member States and Deputy Secretary-General for ASEAN Political and Security Community. H.E U Aung Myo Myint, Permanent Representative to ASEAN as an Alternate Eminent Person of Myanmar to HLTF-ACV accompanied by the officials from ASEAN Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the said meeting virtually.
The meeting discussed the matters pertaining to the Core Elements of ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision, Strengthening ASEAN’s Capacity and Institutional Effectiveness, the Modalities for Stakeholders’ Consultation and Progress Report to be submitted to the Joint Consultative Meeting and ASEAN Coordination Council Meeting.
The establishment of the High Level Task Force (HLTF) was agreed at the 38th and 39th ASEAN Summit which was held on 16 October 2022 with the aim to develop the ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision. The High Level Task Force was formed by the Eminent Persons and High Level Representatives from ASEAN Member States.
