On 24 April 2026, the Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation organized an event titled “A Celebration of Southeast Asian Coffees” at Drop by Dough in Hong Kong, showcasing coffees from Southeast Asian countries and the Consulate General of Myanmar in Hong Kong participated with Myanmar coffee under the “Origin” brand.
At the event, Myanmar Consul General Ms. Phoo Pwint Ko Ko joined ASEAN Consuls General as well as Consuls General and representatives from other consulates in Hong Kong, officials from the Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation, coffee entrepreneurs, and invited guests.
During the coffee showcase, guests experienced the distinctive aromas and flavors of coffee beans from Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam, presented country by country. Drop by Dough also hosted the guests with donuts and pastries.
