U Thwin Htet Lin, Consul-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Kunming, received Mr. Heng Pisal, the newly appointed Consul-General of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Kunming, Yunnan Province, at the Myanmar Consulate-General at 15:30 hours today. During the call, both Consuls-General engaged in a productive exchange of views aimed at further consolidating the long-standing bilateral relations and cooperation between Myanmar and Cambodia. Their discussions focused on several key sectors, including the promotion of bilateral friendship and people-to-people ties, advancement of cultural exchange programs and enhancement of trade and economic collaboration within the region.
The Cambodian Consul-General shared insights from his professional experiences, while the Myanmar Consul-General apprised his counterpart of recent domestic developments in Myanmar, specifically highlighting the progress and conduct of the General Election. The meeting concluded with a cordial exchange of commemorative gifts between the two heads of mission.
