Ms. Khaing Su Linn, Consul-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Nanning attended the Fourth Session of the 13th Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee’s Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the Fifth session of the 14th People’s Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region held at the Guangxi People’s Hall on 1st and 2nd of February 2026.
At the conference on 1-2-2026, Mr. Sun Dawei, Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee delivered the government work report, which reviewed the economic and social development activities and achievements in 2025 and the goals, priorities, and ongoing work plans set for 2026.
At the conference on 2-2-2026, Mr. Wei Tao, Governor of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, presented a report on the review and approval of various reports from the People's Government, the People's Congress, the Senate and the People's Procuratorate, the 15th Five-Year Plan, the 2026 National Economic, Social Development and Budget Plans, and the Elections.
Mr. Chen Gang, Secretary of Guangxi CPC Committee, members of the Regional People's Congress, Consuls-General from the Consulate-Generals in Nanning, and specially invited guests also attended the conference.
