Myanmar Consul General Ms. Phoo Pwint Ko Ko hosted the monthly luncheon of ASEAN Consuls General at 12:30 hrs on 29 January 2026 at the Island Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong.
At the luncheon, Ms. Kerry POON, Director of Protocol of the Hong Kong SAR, attended as the Guest of Honour, together with Consuls General and representatives from the Consulates General of the ASEAN member states based in the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions.
At the luncheon, the Consul General of Myanmar, the Consul General of Malaysia who is the Dean of ASEAN in Hong Kong and the Director of Protocol of the Hong Kong SAR delivered their remarks and the Consul-General of Malaysia, Mr. Muzambli Markam, handed over “the Gavel” which is the symbol of the ASEAN Chairmanship to the Consul-General of the Philippines, Mr. Romulo Victor M. Israel, Jr.
