Consul-General of the Consulate-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Chiang Mai, U Ming Kyaw Linn, attended the Merit-Making Ceremony in Remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, to mark the seventh day since Her Majesty’s passing. The ceremony took place at the International Exhibition and Convention Center in Chiang Mai on 30 October 2025. Alms, including robes, were offered to ten monks, including the Head Abbot of the Northern Region of Thailand.
Also present at the event were the Governor of Chiang Mai, Consuls-General and Deputy Chiefs of Mission from various Consulates-General based in Chiang Mai, Deputy Governors of Chiang Mai, as well as government officials from various departments in the province.
