Myanmar Consul General Ms. Phoo Pwint Ko Ko attended the opening ceremony of the 4th Art Hong Kong Expo at 1100 hrs on 15 May 2026 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR). At the opening ceremony, Mrs. Carrie Lam, former Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR delivered the opening remarks, and then launched the Expo by ribbon cutting along with the distinguished guests.
The 4th Art Hong Kong Expo was held from 15 to 18 May 2026 at the AsiaWorld-Expo in the Hong Kong SAR. The Myanmar Consulate General in Hong Kong SAR participated with Myanmar exhibition booth, showcasing traditional handicrafts such as lacquerware, wooden sculptures, traditional umbrellas, and Myanmar’s traditional attire. In addition, with the support of the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization, Aung Zay Pearl and Jewellery Company presented and sold Myanmar pearls, jade jewellery, and shell handicrafts.
At the 4th Art Hong Kong Expo, the 5th Belt & Road National Art & Culture Expo, the 8th Hong Kong International Arts & Collectibles Expo and 2026 China Digital Creativity Expo were also held. The Expo featured themed zones comprising digital creativity pavilion, cultural tourism pavilion, international intellectual property cultural and creative products exhibition and Greater Bay Area cultural and art pavilion.
