Ms. Khaing Su Linn, Consul-General of the Consulate-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Nanning attended the “Liaison Officials Meeting for the 22nd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS)” held at Grand Metropark Hotel in Nanning on 24-6-2025.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Li Qingshuang, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Mr. Liao Pinhu, Vice Governor of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Ms. Yang Yanyan, the Secretary-General and officials of the CABIS Secretariat, Consul-Generals and diplomats of ASEAN Consulates-General in Nanning and Guangzhou, and representatives from ASEAN Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
At the meeting, Ms. Li Qingshuang, Vice President of CCPIT, Mr. Liao Pinhu, Vice Governor of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Ms. Yang Yanyan, Secretary of the CABIS Secretariat delivered an opening remark respectively. Afterwards, during the session of discussing suggestions and various aspects for successful holding of the 22nd CABIS by representatives, Ms. Khaing Su Linn, Consul-General of Myanmar highlighted the important role of CAEXPO and CABIS in promoting economic, trade and investment between China and ASEAN and strengthening the regional industrial and supply chain. She emphasized that Myanmar, as a Country of Honour of 22nd CAEXPO and CABIS, stands ready to cooperate with all to effectively utilize the CABIS and CABC platforms to facilitate trade and investment, expand the market of Myanmar products to China, deepen cooperation in emerging areas, and build a more stable and smooth regional industrial and supply chain system through digital technology.
Finally, Ms. Yang Yanyan, Secretary of the CABIS Secretariat, responded feedback upon discussions of representatives of the respective countries and concluded the meeting successfully.
