Chargé d’ Affaires a.i./Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Washington, D.C., along with ASEAN Ambassadors, Chargés d’ Affaires, Timor Leste’s Ambassador and representatives from other ASEAN Embassies, attended the Handover Ceremony hosted by H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States and Chair of ASEAN Committee in Washington (ACW), at the Royal Thai Embassy on 29 August 2025. At the ceremony, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand, briefed activities and progress of the ACW made under the chairmanship of the Royal Thai Embassy and H.E. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dzung, Ambassador of Vietnam, gave an overview of the ACW’s upcoming activities. Afterwards, the Ambassador of Thailand handed over the Chairmanship of the ACW to the Ambassador of Vietnam.
