His Excellency U Kyaw Kyaw Min, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the United Arab Emirates received H.E. Mr. Bolbongse Vangphaen, the newly arrived Ambassador of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates at the Myanmar Embassy on Wednesday, March 18, 2025 at 13:30 hrs. During the meeting, they exchanged views on the current cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand to further strengthen the existing friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and the current cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, investment, education, public health sectors. They also exchanged views on security and stability in the border areas, and closer cooperation in the regional and international arenas, as well as the warnings issued and action plans being made to keep the citizens safe from the current situation in the Middle East. In addition, the Ambassador also informed about the multi-party democratic general elections held in Myanmar last December 2025, the representatives elected through elections in accordance with the will of the people, and the beginning of the first regular sessions of the Third Pyithu Hluttaw and the Third Amyotha Hluttaw.
