In the aftermath of the devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on 28 March 2025, widespread destruction has been caused across several regions of the country. In response to the disaster, on 19 June 2025, H.E. U Thant Sin, Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, received a donation of KRW 3,000,000 from President of Hwashin Industrial Company Limited to support ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts for those affected by the earthquake in Myanmar. In recognition of this generous contribution, Myanmar Ambassador presented Appreciation Certificate to the donor and conveyed his sincere gratitude for the compassionate contribution. The donated funds will be transferred to the earthquake victims through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
