In the aftermath of the devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on 28 March 2025, extensive damage has been caused in multiple regions. In response to the disaster, on 13 May 2025, H.E. U Thant Sin, Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, received a donation of KRW 2,000,000 from The Dongsin Presbyterian Church of the Republic of Korea to provide relief and rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas of Myanmar. In recognition of the generous contribution, Myanmar Ambassador presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the representatives of the church and conveyed his profound gratitude for their support. The donated fund will be transferred to the earthquake victims through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
