On 11 August 2025, H.E. U Thant Sin, Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, received a donation of KRW 3,000,000 from Mr. Jae Muk Jeong, President of Hwashin Industrial Company Limited to support ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts for those affected by the devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on 28 March 2025. In recognition of this generous contribution, Myanmar Ambassador presented an appreciation certificate and a medal to the donor and conveyed his sincere gratitude for the compassionate contribution. The donated fund will be transferred to the earthquake victims through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
