H.E. U Zaw Zaw Soe, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand, attended the auspicious ceremony commemorating the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, and Vassa Candle Donation Ceremony held on 12 August 2025 at the Wat Bang Phai Royal Monastery in Bang Bua Thong District, Thailand. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Most Venerable Ashin Sandi Marbhivamsa, Chairman of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Most Venerable Phra Sophon Nonsaran, Abbot of Wat Bang Pai Royal Monastery, and the venerable monks from the Wat Bang Pai Royal Monastery. During the ceremony the Ambassador received the Vassa candles donated by the Wat Bang Phai Royal Monastery. The Ambassador conveyed his heartfelt wishes for the good health and longevity of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, and expressed his sincere appreciation to the Abbot and the monastery administration for their generous donations and support to Myanmar. The Ambassador also expressed the wish to further strengthen the existing friendship, peace, and prosperity between Myanmar and Thailand.
