Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Zaw Zaw Soe attended “15th Thai Silk Festival: Thai Silk Road to the World 2026”, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture of Thailand, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and the Association of Thai Silk and Culture Promotion, held on 6 June 2026 at the Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
The festival was held in commemoration of Her Majesty the Queen’s Fourth Cycle Birthday and attended by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Madam, members of the Thai Cabinet, diplomats, honorary consuls, and distinguished international guests to celebrate Thai silk, culture, and creative design.
As a special highlight of the event, H.E. Mr. Zaw Zaw Soe and his family, together with representatives of the Thai Government, diplomats and representatives from embassies and honorary consulates based in Thailand, participated in a fashion show featuring more than 250 Thai silk outfits which were designed by students from universities and vocational institutions throughout Thailand.
