The welcoming and farewell reception was hosted by the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in honor of the newly appointed Ambassadors of Myanmar, Panama, Comoros, Australia, and Lebanon who have assumed their duties in Riyadh, as well as to bid farewell to the Ambassadors of Thailand and Türkiye upon the completion of their assignments. The ceremony was held at resident of the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Djibouti in Riyadh at 11:30 a.m. on 28 January, 2026 and was attended by H.E. U Nay Myo Oo, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
