H.E. Mr. Bounmy Vanmany, who has successfully completed his term as Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to the Republic of India, and Mrs. Vannaphonh Vanmany, departed from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, for Vientiane on the night of 5 February 2026.
H.E. U Zaw Oo, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chair of the ASEAN–New Delhi Committee (ANDC), accompanied by Mrs. Pwint Nwe Wai, Spouse of the Ambassador and Chair of the ASEAN Ladies’ Circle (ALC), along with the ASEAN Ambassadors, extended a warm farewell to the departing Ambassador and spouse at the airport.
On the occasion, H.E. U Zaw Oo presented a commemorative gift to H.E. Mr. Bounmy Vanmany, while Mrs. Pwint Nwe Wai presented a farewell souvenir from the ALC to Mrs. Vannaphonh Vanmany. Farewell photographs were also taken with Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and Deputy Chiefs of Mission from ASEAN Missions in New Delhi.
