H.E. U Zaw Oo, Ambassador of Myanmar to India, attended the Global Ambassador Meet on the Pharmaceutical Sector and the Curtain Raiser of iPHEX 2026, held at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi, on 8 June 2026 at 1900 hrs at the invitation of Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India.
At the ceremony, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry H.E. Shri Piyush Goyal formally inaugurated iPHEX 2026, the International Exhibition of Pharma and Healthcare and delivered remarks highlighting the importance of the exhibition in strengthening India’s role in the global pharmaceutical sector. The event was attended by Ambassadors, Chiefs of Missions, Diplomats from various foreign embassies based in New Delhi, Minister of State and senior officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, representatives of pharmaceutical companies and other distinguished guests.
iPHEX is an international exhibition on pharmaceuticals and healthcare, organized annually since 2013 by Pharmexcil with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The 12th International Exhibition on Pharma and Healthcare (iPHEX 2026) will be held from September 7 to 9, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The exhibition will bring together over 900 Indian companies from across the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, is expected to attract over 50,000 domestic visitors, and will host over 600 foreign pharmaceutical trade delegates.
