His Excellency U Zaw Win Myint, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the People’s Republic of China, has made of formal introductory visits to fellow ASEAN Ambassadors in Beijing; on 26 January 2026, a courtesy call with H.E. Mr. Jaime A. FlorCruz, Ambassador of Philippine to China, and on 29 January 2026, a courtesy call with H.E. Mr. Ri Ryong Nam , Ambassador of Democratic Republic of Korea to China, on 30 January, 2026, courtesy calls with H.E. Mr. Djauhari Oratmangun, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to China, and H.E. Mr. Pham Thanh Binh, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to China respectively. During these calls with the respective Ambassadors, they exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering friendly diplomatic ties and cooperation between Myanmar and respective ASEAN countries.
Moreover, Ambassador H.E. U Zaw Win Myint also met with H.E. Mr. Nurlan Yermekbayev, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on 29 January 2026, at 10:00 am and exchange views on promoting and deepening ASEAN-China friendly relations and cooperation with Chinese government and related government agencies.
