At the invitation of the Heilongjiang Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Myanmar Ambassador to China H.E. U Zaw Win Myint visited Heilongjiang Province on July 8, 2026. During the visit, Ambassador attended the 8th World Tourism Development Conference at the Jixi Convention Center, at which H.E. U Maung Myint, Union Minister of the Ministry of Hotels, Tourism and Culture of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar was also attended and made an opening address.
Following the ceremony, Ambassador U Zaw Win Myint joined a bilateral meeting between the Myanmar delegation, led by Union Minister U Maung Myint, and Mr. Xu Qin, Secretary of the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial People’s Congress.
The high-level meeting and conference were also attended by key Chinese officials, including Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Heilongjiang Province and Secretary-General of the People’s Congress, Mr. Xu Xiangguo, Vice Mayor of Heilongjiang City Mr. Han Shengian, Secretary of the Municipal Committee and Party of Jixi City, Mr. Sun Changkun, Heilongjiang Province, Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Heilongjiang Province Ms. Liu Qinghua, and Director-General of the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Hotel and Tourism Ms. He Jing. The conference was also attended by approximately 500 participants.
