His Excellency U Zaw Win Myint, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the People’s Republic of China, attended the ASEAN Committee in Beijing (ACB) Meeting and Handover Ceremony of the ACB Chairmanship from the Kingdom of Thailand to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste at the Lifetree Library, Beijing International Club hosted by ACB Chair, the the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing on 22nd January 2026.
At the meeting, ASEAN Ambassadors and Heads of Mission reviewed and approved the Summary Record of the previous ACB meeting, engaged in the comprehensive discussions regarding the ASEAN-China dialogue relations, the strengthening of bilateral ties between respective ASEAN member states and China, and significant regional developments.
Following the session, Ambassador U Zaw Win Myint joined the fellow the ASEAN Ambassadors at a working lunch hosted by the Ambassador of Thailand at the Xuncai Japanese Restaurant in St. Regis Hotel and exchanged views on existing regional cooperation.
