On August 7, 2025, the ASEAN Committee Kuwait (ACK), under the rotating chairmanship of Dr. Nguyen Duc Thang, Ambassador of Vietnam to Kuwait, held its 58th ASEAN Day celebration followed by a regular meeting of ACK ambassadors at the Regency Hotel in Kuwait City. The event was attended by U Chan Aye, Ambassador of Myanmar to Kuwait, alongside Ambassadors and Head of Missions from other ASEAN embassies in Kuwait. The ceremony commenced with the ASEAN Anthem, followed by a video presentation highlighting ASEAN’s history and its ongoing development. A commemorative cake was then cut to mark the occasion, and group photos were taken. The regular meeting continued with discussions on future initiatives to strengthen ASEAN’s presence and role in Kuwait. During the meeting, the Myanmar Ambassador also briefed his counterparts on Myanmar’s recent domestic political developments.
