The Ambassador of Myanmar U Wunna Han, current Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Islamabad (ACI) hosted the Meeting of ASEAN Committee’s Heads of Mission, ASEAN Chairmanship Handover ceremony and a Luncheon at the Myanmar House, residence of Myanmar Ambassador in Islamabad on Friday, 25 July 2025 at 10:30 am.
During the meeting, discussion and exchanges of views took place on various initiatives implemented under the Chairmanship of Myanmar term. This included the courtesy call paid to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Ishaq Dar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Investment Promotion Seminar with the Federal Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry which was attended by Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Mr. Qaiser Ahmad Shaikh, and Federal Minister for Food Security and Research, Mr. Rana Tanveer Hussain and to hold the successful celebration of ASEAN Day event.
Following the meeting, Foreign Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Ms. Amna Baloch and Additional Secretary Mr. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui attended the ASEAN Chairmanship Handover Ceremony and took a group photo in traditional ASEAN way and Myanmar Ambassador hosted a luncheon with cuisines of Myanmar.
