Myanmar Ambassador to India, H.E. Mr. Zaw Oo, participated in the India Al Impact Summit 2026, which is currently being held at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from February 16 to 20.
The summit was officially inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with representatives from over 100 countries in attendance. The high-level event saw the participation of over 20 heads of state, ministerial delegations from 45 countries (totaling 60 ministers), and more than 500 global Al leaders. Additionally, the UN Secretary-General attended the summit, emphasizing the safe and ethical application of Al for humanity and the strengthening of international cooperation. A Myanmar delegation, led by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, is also participating in the event.
On February 19, the Ambassador attended the opening ceremony of the India Al Impact Summit 2026 and visited the Global Advanced Al Technology Exhibition held alongside the summit. The exhibition featured cutting-edge Al innovations from world-renowned tech giants, including Microsoft, OpenAl, Meta, Google, and NVIDIA, showcasing their latest advancements in artificial intelligence.
