U Moe Kyaw Aung, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, attended a meeting on 9 June 2025 at 17:15 hrs at the Indonesian Ambassador’s Residence in Oslo. The meeting was held between Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, the Secretary-General of ASEAN, who is on a working visit to Norway, and members of the ASEAN Committee in Oslo (ACO). During the meeting, they discussed ways to further enhance ASEAN-Norway trade and investment relations, with particular emphasis on green energy and the blue economy, as well as exchanged views on regional and international developments. Secretary-General Dr. Kao encouraged the Committee to continue actively promoting ASEAN's visibility in Norway, in light of the 10th anniversary of the ASEAN-Norway Sectoral Dialogue Partnership this year.
The meeting was followed by a dinner reception attended by the Secretary-General, ACO members and other key stakeholders, including ambassadors in Oslo, officials from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives from the Norwegian Institute for International Affairs (NUPI), and others.
