Ministry of Foreign Affairs holds a presentation session on Artificial Intelligence

A presentation session titled “Practical AI for Public Service Excellence,” aimed at raising workplace awareness of Artificial Intelligence (AI), was held at the Lawkannat Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1400 to 1600 hours on October 29–30, 2025. The event was attended by Deputy Minister U Naing Min Kyaw, along with senior officials and staff members from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In his opening and closing remarks, the Deputy Minister emphasized the importance for ministry staff to keep up with current trends and technological advancements and to effectively utilize AI technologies for enhancing efficiency and productivity. He also highlighted the need to combine individual capabilities, professional experience, and continuous learning with the power of AI, to have the ability to engage in AI-related discussions, and to pay attention to information security.

During the session, Ambassador U Maung Maung Lynn, as the main presenter, shared knowledge on how AI technologies can be applied in daily work activities, drawing from his own experience.
