Mrs. Le Nguyen Ngoc Trinh, newly-appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Ho Chi Minh City, presented the Letter of Consular Commission to H.E. Mr. Doan Hoang Minh, Director General of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam on 17 July 2026 at 1000 hrs at the latter’s office, and was then presented with her Exequatur.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, H.E. U Wai Linn who frankly exchanged views along with expectation that the appointment of new Honorary Consul of Myanmar will provide additional impetus to the further consolidation of the existing friendship and people-to-people contact, expansion of collaboration on consular matters including the protection of interests of both nationals as well as the advancement of the bilateral economic cooperation between Myanmar and Viet Nam.
