His Excellency U Kyaw Tin Shein, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, visited Cotton Research Institute in Cairo on 26th February 2025.
During the visit, His Excellency U Kyaw Tin Shein met with the Experts Team of Cotton Research Institute led by the Prof. Mohamed A. Maged A.Aziz, Council President & Minister Advisor, and discussed on the potential areas of collaboration between the Institute and Myanmar Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation such as knowledge sharing and providing necessary techniques and technologies related to Cotton Production and Cultivation to Myanmar through exchanging bilateral visits.
After the discussion, Ambassador conducted a study tour around the Institute, during which researchers from each section explained and showed the scientific research of developing new cotton varieties for better yield quality and spinnability to meet the domestic and international textile industry standards.
