At the invitation of Egypt’s Foreign Minister, H.E. Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Myanmar Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, U Kyaw Tin Shein, attended the 200th Anniversary Celebration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, held at 6:00 p.m. on 25 June 2026 at the Ministry’s headquarters in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, Cabinet ministers, senior government officials, former prime ministers and ministers, current and former ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Egypt, diplomats and representatives of international organizations.
During the ceremony, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly delivered the keynote address, highlighting the Ministry’s two centuries of service in advancing Egypt’s national interests and international standing. Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty also delivered remarks on the history and achievements of Egyptian diplomacy and reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation.
