His Excellency H.E. U Zaw Zaw Soe, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Kingdom of Thailand, attended a national event entitled “24 Years of Delivering Prompt, Inclusive and Equitable Assistance to Victims: Because Justice Delayed is Justice Denied” organized by the Rights and Liberties Protection Department (RLPD) under the Ministry of Justice of Thailand on 6 May 2026 at the IMPACT FORUM, Nonthaburi Province, Thailand.
The event was presided over by the Prime Minister of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, who delivered the opening remarks. During the event, a total of 74 honorary awards were presented to outstanding organizations and individuals for their exceptional contributions to the Victim Assistance in the Justice System B.E. 2569 (2026) by the Prime Minister and financial assistance was disbursed to the victims.
In recognition of the vital role played by foreign missions in supporting justice for victims affected by legal cases in Thailand, the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea were honored as the most cooperative diplomatic missions, and H.E. U Zaw Zaw Soe accepted the “Outstanding Organization” Honorary Plaque for its Assistance to Victims in the Justice System B.E. 2569 (2026) on behalf of the Embassy of Myanmar.
