H.E. U Zaw Zaw Soe, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Kingdom of Thailand and Embassy staff, attended the opening ceremony of the 59th Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar, organized by the Thai Red Cross Society through its Donation HUB in collaboration with the Diplomatic Participants Committee in Thailand, under the theme “The Art of Giving” on Thursday, 26 February 2026 at 8:30 a.m. The event is being held from 26 February to 1 March 2026 at Paragon Hall, 5th Floor, Siam Paragon, Bangkok.
The opening ceremony was graciously presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Executive Vice President of the Thai Red Cross Society, who officially declared the event open and toured the international booths following the ceremony. The event was attended by the members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of international organizations, corporate sponsors and the general public.
At the bazaar, the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Bangkok set up three booths showcasing and selling Myanmar traditional handicrafts, locally produced jewelry and jade accessories, textiles and garments, traditional Myanmar food and products.
Diplomatic missions from over 50 countries participated in the Bazaar by showcasing and selling their traditional foods, cultural products and handicrafts. Fund from the event will be donated to the charitable and humanitarian activities initiated by the Thai Red Cross Society.
