H.E. U Kyaw Soe Moe, Ambassador to Bangladesh attended the ASEAN Day Celebration which was held in the Renaissance Hotel, Dhaka on 10 August 2026.
The occasion was attended by H.E. Mr. Mohammed Aminur Rashid, Hon’ble Minister for Fisheries and Livestock of Bangladesh as the Chief Guest. The Hon’ble Minister, the Ambassador of Malaysia to Bangladesh, Chair of ASEAN-Dhaka Committee and the Ambassador of Philippines to Bangladesh, Chair of ASEAN delivered welcome remarks respectively in the ceremony. Following the speeches, the Chief Guest and the Heads of Missions of ASEAN member States proceeded to cut the ASEAN Day cake, which was followed by a group photo session.
The Senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Heads of Missions/ Chargé d’ Affaires a.i. from the Embassies and International Organizations based in Dhaka and the other special guests, totalling over 150 people attended the Event.
