On November 5, 2025, the 14th Annual Ceremony of offering of the Kathina Robe to the Venerable Sangha, including the Head Abbot, Dr. Ashin Kondañña Mahathera, holder of the Aggamahāpaṇḍita and Aggamahāsaddhammajotikadhaja titles, was held at Wat Sai Moon Myanmar Monastery in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where the Sangha had completed the Buddhist Lent (Vassa).
During the ceremony, Consul-General U Ming Kyaw Linn of the Consulate-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Chiang Mai, together with members of the Myanmar community in Chiang Mai, offered Kathina robes and alms to the Sangha. The event was organized by the Myanmar community in Chiang Mai. Following the offering, the Venerable Sangha members delivered a sermon, and the congregation shared in the spiritual merits gained from this noble act.
To commemorate the occasion, the Myanmar Consulate-General in Chiang Mai also hosted a charity feast for all attendees.
