Consul-General U Kyaw Zay Yar Lin Visited the Liangjiang Hospital in Chongqing(9-5-2026, Chongqing)

U Kyaw Zay Yar Lin, Consul-General of the Consulate-General of the Republic of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Chongqing, visited Liangjiang Hospital in Chongqing on the afternoon of 8 May 2026, where he toured the facilities and held discussions with responsible officials.
Liangjiang Hospital in Chongqing established in 1957 and is managed through five major medical departments and eight clinics. With a workforce of more than 1,800 staff members, including over 230 specialists, the hospital has 1,200 patient beds and provides healthcare services to more than 5,000 patients daily.
During the visit, the Consul-General toured the VIP Medical Department, Emergency Department, Radiology Department, and observed medical equipment integrated with AI technology. He also discussed exchange programs and cooperation opportunities for medical students and doctors between Liangjiang hospital and medical universities and hospitals in Myanmar.
