U Kyaw Zay Yar Lin, Consul-General of the Consulate-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Chongqing, paid a visit to the Children’s Palace in Chongqing on the afternoon of 6 May 2026, where he observed the facilities and held discussions with responsible officials.
The Children’s Palace in Chongqing is a youth development center that provides educational, artistic, moral, and intellectual development activities for children. It also offers a variety of extracurricular training programs designed to enhance the skills and talents of children and young people. Additionally, the center actively conducts international student exchange activities in collaboration with international schools, universities, and foreign consulates.
During the visit, the Consul-General met and held discussions with the Director, Mr. Long Jiang, and other responsible officials regarding possible cooperation programs with Myanmar. Discussions included the possibility of organizing educational exchange programs with Myanmar, inviting children from Myanmar to participate in summer study tours, and organizing exhibitions of Myanmar cultural items at the Children’s Palace.
