On September 11 2024, the Consul General of Myanmar from the Consulate General in Chongqing U Kyaw Zay Yar Lin participated in the 2024 Sichuan-South Asia & Southeast Asia Business Development Cooperation Conference held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
The conference was hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Sichuan Council (CCPIT Sichuan Council). The event was attended by approximately 100 individuals, including leaders from the Sichuan Provincial Government, representatives from the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Chambers of Commerce from SAARC member states and 18 Southeast Asian countries, the ASEAN-China Center, as well as Consuls General from foreign consulates based in China and business leaders from enterprises.
