The Reception to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of the Myanmar Armed Forces Day was hosted by the Permanent Mission of Myanmar to ASEAN, the Myanmar Embassy and the Office of Military, Naval and Air Attaché of Myanmar at the Hotel Borobudur in Jakarta, Indonesia on 27 March 2026.
The ceremony commenced with singing the national anthems and saluting the national flags of Myanmar and Indonesia. During the event, Brigadier General Aung Hein Win, the Military Naval and Air Attaché of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, delivered his welcome remarks and commemoration speech for the Armed Forces Day celebration. The programme continued with the Photo Session, hosting with a selection of delicacies, performing with Myanmar traditional songs and dances, and screening the video clip commemorating the Myanmar Armed Forces Day and the presentation of breathtaking natural landscapes of Myanmar.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassadors, Chargés d’Affaires, and diplomatic corps from the Embassies and Permanent Missions to ASEAN, senior officials from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Indonesia, Defense Attachés and the families of Myanmar Permanent Mission to ASEAN, the Myanmar Embassy, and the Office of Military, Naval and Air Attaché in Jakarta.
