The Chargé d’affaires of the Myanmar Embassy in Canberra, Daw Myat Thuzar Than attended the Heads of Mission Meeting No. 2/2026 of ASEAN Committee in Canberra (ACC) which was held by the Vietnamese Embassy, the current chair of ACC, at the Viet Nam House at 11:00 a.m. local time on 30 June 2026.
The Meeting was chaired by the Ambassador of Viet Nam to Australia, H.E. Mr. Pham Hung Tam. During the meeting, the Heads of Mission of ASEAN Committee in Canberra adopted the Meeting Minutes of Heads of Mission Meeting No. 1/2026 held on 30 January 2026 and reviewed the ACC Activities successfully implemented in past six months from January to June 2026. They also discussed on proposed ACC activities for the period from July to December 2026.
After the Meeting, H.E. Mr. Pham Hung Tam handed over the ACC Chairmanship to H.E. Ms. Nooraslena Sallehuddin, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Australia.
