The farewell dinner for departing Ambassadors of ASEAN Member Countries – Singapore Ambassador H.E. Foo Teow Lee and Viet Nam Ambassador H.E. Dinh Toan Thang, was hosted by the Ambassador of Laos PDR, H.E. Kalamoungkhoune SOUPHANOUVONG, Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Paris, on 24 November 2025. It was attended by U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Charge’ d’Affaires / Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, together with the Ambassadors, Charge’ d’Affaires, and the Deputy Heads of Mission of ASEAN countries.
During the dinner, the Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Paris, the Ambassador of the Laos PDR, expressed appreciation for the close cooperation and valuable contributions extended by the Ambassadors of Singapore and Viet Nam throughout their tenure in Paris, and commended their active leadership and consistent engagement in ASEAN-related activities, noting that their efforts would be long remembered. Souvenirs were also presented to both Ambassadors in recognition of their service.
